Muslims Break Into Family’s Home, And Murder Mother and Children

Muslims broke into a family home and murdered a mother and her sons, and then afterwards, beheaded their corpses. They committed the murder because the father was a member of the Sunni political movement, Sahwa, which was calling on America to turn against Al-Qaeda.

As a journalist writing for The Economist, tells us:

The fighters also single out fellow Sunnis who are remnants of the Sahwa (“Awakening”) movement led by tribal leaders who were persuaded by the Americans to turn on al-Qaeda in 2007 and who are now being picked off. Gunmen recently attacked a Sahwa leader’s home near Samarra, north of Baghdad, killing his wife and sons, then beheading them.

The slaughter of human beings in this gruesome manner is an indication as to how important our cause against Islam is. If the violence between Muslims is at this level of brutality, imagine how vicious it is against Christians. Last year a mob of Muslims surrounded a church in Indonesia, throwing rocks and frothing from their poisonous lips were their declarations of blasphemy. They hung up signs with demonic statements such as, “Jesus is a dog” and “Kill the Christians.” They threw rocks, dirt, and even bags of urine at the church and the Christians.

This is just scratching the service as to the depth of depravity and vileness in which the heresy of Islam plunges a man’s soul. And all of this deplorable violence took place as the police stood by and watched.

The liberty to have actually just having a church in Indonesia is grueling and unendurable to say the least. One church had to pay more than a million U.S. dollars to acquire a permit, and the permit is suppose to be free.

In the year 2012, International Christian Concern found that at least 50 churches were forced to close down in Indonesia.

And churches continue to close down in Indonesia, this is why we must help our brethren. Donate now to save Christian lives.

Proof that Rescue Christians is using donors money for the purposes you gave it

Among the most important concerns of people who make charitable contributions is that their money actually ends up going directly toward the cause for which it is intended. When that cause is halfway around the world, in a region where corruption is in no short supply, such concerns are even more warranted.

Moreover, when the cause is rescuing Christians in Pakistan, we know about this all too well, as the suicide bombings at the All Saints Church in Peshawar have demonstrated. There are entities and individuals on the ground in Pakistan that take advantage of donors’ good intentions. We are very sensitive to these abuses and it is for that reason that we have decided to produce copies of hospital bills for individuals who’ve benefited directly from your donations.

Here is a message from Keith Davies, Executive Director of Rescue Christians:

While we cannot supply full transparency on how your money is used out of concerns about security, showing you copies of the initial hospital bills to help the victims of bombing is one thing we can do to show some of that transparency. The actual rescue work our people do is not only sensitive but very dangerous. Recently, three of our team members in Pakistan were detained by police only because they spoke with different dialects and looked different while working in the Peshawar area. This shows us how our work is closely monitored by the Pakistani government; there are other examples which we cannot publish.

Thankfully, our leaders on the ground were able secure their release within a few hours. Not only do we have to deal with the Islamic extremists – both inside and outside the Pakistani government – but also with corrupt Church leaders as well as people who look to make money off the tragedy of others’ persecution. Muslims Slit A Christian Man’s Throat, Then Tell The Wife, ‘Jesus Didn’t Come to Save Him’

Ghastly attacks on Christians mocked as “Crusaders” in Syria continued unabated as Jihadists reportedly forced one man to convert to Islam at gunpoint and slit the throat of another Christian woman’s fiancé and then told her, “Jesus didn’t come to save him.”

Residents who fled from the ancient town of Maalula in Syria told AFP that jihadists ambushed the town last week and forced a man to convert to Islam at gunpoint.

“They arrived in our town at dawn… and shouted ‘We are from the Al-Nusra Front and have come to make lives miserable for the Crusaders,” said one woman identified as Marie in Damascus, where many people from Maalula fled after rebels first attacked that town on Sept. 4.

One of the most renowned Christian towns in Syria, many of Maalula’s approximately 5,000 residents speak Aramaic, the language Jesus spoke. Rebels want to tighten their control of the town for its strategic value as a launching point to level attacks on the highway between the capital and Homs, a key regime supply route.

On Tuesday, Marie and hundreds of others in exile in Damascus, attended the burial of three Christian pro-regime militiamen who were killed in fighting.

Adnan Nasrallah, 62, told AFP that an explosion destroyed an archway just across from his house that leads into Maalula during the fighting last week.

“I saw people wearing Al-Nusra headbands who started shooting at crosses,” the Christian senior told the AFP. One of the shooters, he said, “put a pistol to the head of my neighbor and forced him to convert to Islam by obliging him to repeat ‘there is no God but God’…Afterwards they joked, ‘he’s one of ours now’.”

Nasrallah said he operated a restaurant, called Maalula, in the State of Washington in the U.S. for 42 years when he decided to return to Syria shortly before the uprising erupted in Syria in March 2011.

He said when the rebels came to town, his Muslim neighbors rejoiced. His sister Antoinette disputed that story, however, saying the people rejoicing were refugees from out of town.

Another Maalula resident, Rasha said the jihadists brutally murdered her fiancé Atef, who was a part of the town’s militia.

“I rang his mobile phone and one of them answered,” she said.

“Good morning, Rashrush,” a voice answered, calling her by her nickname according to AFP. “We are from the Free Syrian Army. Do you know your fiancé was a member of the shabiha (pro-regime militia) who was carrying weapons, and we have slit his throat?”

Rasha said the man told her Atef was asked to denounce his faith and convert to Islam and he refused.

“Jesus didn’t come to save him,” the rebel taunted.

Boko Haram Leader: We Are Fighting Christians And Anyone Allied With Them

Muhammad founded Islam to specifically to obliterate the Church, and now Boko Haram is following in the footsteps of their founder. We all focus on terrorist groups but we seem to ignore the biggest one on earth: Islam. iOL news writes:

Abuja – The commander of Nigeria’s Islamist militant group Boko Haram claimed in a video released on Monday that the group abducted women and children from police barracks in a town recently attacked by his forces.

The undated video seen by reporters shows Boko Haram leader Abu Shekau with women and children, whom he claimed to be holding captive in retaliation for the arrests by Nigerian authorities of relatives of Boko Haram members.

Demanding the release of sect members and their families, Shekau said: “If you think that you can free these women and children from us, then come out and face us.”

Boko Haram, whose name means “Western education is a sin”, has been waging an insurgency since 2009 in Africa’s most populous country.

Sitting next to an AK-47 rifle on a table covered with a rug, Shekau said in the local Hausa language that the group’s mission is to fight “the government that is fighting with Islam, government of democracy, constitution and literacy”.

Wearing a military uniform, he said Boko Haram was fighting Christians and anyone allied with them.

Shekau claimed responsibility for last week’s attack on Bama town in Borno state in north-eastern Nigeria. In the attack on a police station, at least 42 people died, including police officers and civilians.

Shekau denied killing civilians during a mid-April attack on Baga, a fishing village on Lake Chad.

By some reports, nearly 200 people died and more than 2 000 homes were destroyed in Baga in Borno State – a stronghold of the Islamist extremists – after Nigerian security forces allegedly went on a rampage following a Boko Haram attack on April 17. It was Nigeria’s military “that went to the town and burnt down houses that you like and killed people that you like”, Shekau said.

The military has denied the scale of the destruction, stating that only 36 people died in the clashes, including 30 insurgents.

According to New York-based Human Rights Watch, attacks by Boko Haram or splinter groups and extrajudicial killings by the security forces have killed more than 3 600 people since 2009. – Sapa-dp

Pope Canonizes 813 Martyrs Killed By Muslims

The massacre of Otranto is one of the worst killings done against Christians by Muslims. The bishop of the southern Italian city was seized by the Turks and cut in half, while every other priest was murdered without question. It is noble of the Pope to give remembrance to them. The Irish Times writes:

Pope Francis has given the Catholic church new saints, including hundreds of 15th-century martyrs who were beheaded for refusing to convert to Islam, as he led his first canonisation ceremony before tens of thousands of people in St Peter’s Square.

The Martyrs of Otranto are 813 Italians who were slain in the southern Italian city in 1480 for defying demands by Turkish invaders to renounce Christianity.

The pope also gave Colombia its first saint: a nun, Laura of St Catherine of Siena Montoya y Upegui, who journeyed with five other women by horseback in 1914 into the forests to be a teacher and spiritual guide to indigenous people. Colombia’s president, Juan Manuel SantosCalderon, was among VIPs attending the ceremony.

The first pontiff from South America also canonised another Latin American woman. Maria Guadalupe Garcia Zavala, a Mexican who dedicated herself to nursing the sick, helped Catholics avoid persecution during a government crackdown of the faith in the 1920s. Also known as Mother Lupita, she hid the Guadalajara archbishop in an eye clinic for more than a year after fearful local Catholic families refused to shelter him.

The new saints were all approved for canonisation in a decree read by Pope Benedict XVI on February 11 during the same ceremony in which he announced he was resigning as pontiff. Benedict, the first pope to retire in 600 years, is now devoting himself to prayer and living in a monastery on the Vatican grounds.

Francis told the crowd that the martyrs are a source of inspiration, especially for “so many Christians, who, right in these times and in so many parts of the world, still suffer violence”. He prayed that they receive “the courage of loyalty and to respond to evil with good”.

The pope did not single out any country. But Christian churches have been attacked in Nigeria and Iraq, and Catholics in China loyal to the Vatican have been subject to harassment and sometimes jail in recent decades.

Francis, the first pope from the Jesuit order, which is known for its missionary zeal, praised the Colombian saint for “instilling hope” in the indigenous people. He said she taught them in a way that “respected their culture.” Many Catholic missionaries over the centuries have been criticised for demanding natives renounce local traditions the outsiders viewed as primitive.

Lebanese Christian: “halt the aggression against the Christians”

Phalange Party leader Amin Gemayel warned on Friday against what he described as “a dangerous reality” facing the Christians in Syria and the region, and called on the international community to stop the bloodshed and stop oppression against the Christians, the state-run National News Agency quoted him as saying from Rome.

“I call on the international community to stop the bloodshed, protect emerging democracies, and halt the aggression against the Christians,” said Gemayel.

On the fate of the Syrian regime, Gemayel stated: “Dictatorships will eventually fall, but we hope the suffering in Syria ends as it is causing a humanitarian disaster.”

Commenting on the future of the Lebanese-Syrian relations, the former president assured: “Relations will automatically go back to normal, like any one between two Arab sovereign states. There is no turning back now after the exchange of diplomatic missions and Lebanon’s refusal to accept any kind of tutelage.”

“But relations can’t settle down unless a democratic regime that respects international relations is established in Syria,” he added.

Gemayel is in Rome to holds talks with Italian officials on the situation in Lebanon in light of the turmoil in Syria and the thorny issue of the Syrian refugees burdening Lebanon’s security, economic and social capabilities.

Since the Syrian uprising erupted in March 2011, there have been numerous deadly clashes along the northern and eastern borders of Lebanon, usually between the Syrian army and armed Syrian or Lebanese groups backing the uprising.

There have also been clashes between armed groups and the Lebanese army seeking to prevent the infiltration of fighters into Lebanon.

Moreover, more than 453,000 Syrian refugees fled the crackdown in their country to Lebanon, according to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in its weekly report on Thursday.
