Iberia Airlines Partners with RescueChristians.org to Save Iraqi Orphans

Today we were advised that Spain’s national airline has offered to fly the first hundred orphans and possibly thousands more to Spain FREE of charge under their employee travel program, also many of the employees will give up some of their travel privileges in order for the orphans to travel to Spain. Not only that, but the Iberian airline stewards will act as chaperones to the orphans while on board with one Iberia airline volunteer steward per two orphans. Rescue Christians would like to thank Iberia Airlines and their employee volunteers for their most generous support. This amazing gesture by Iberia Airlines will save Rescue Christians about $70,000 as well as several hundred thousand if the program is extended. Also we must thank again Mila and Manuel Fernandez of Living Water Church, our Rescue Christian Partners in Spain who arranged this, along with the many other initiatives they are working on to save the Orphans of Iraq and Syria. Mila and Manuel are a real blessing to our organization.

On Monday November 24th Rescue Christians submitted the names of the first 100 Iraqi orphans we wish to save from Turkey. We hope that the travel documents will be issued with the next few days. When they are issued we will advise you as soon as we hear.

The Spanish people and churches both Catholic and Protestant have also responded with great generosity. Further many companies and people have offered to help by offering clothes, furniture, accommodation and other necessities so we can facilitate over 1100 orphans which we anticipate to bring to Spain over the next few weeks. Once the Orphans arrive they will be housed and each case will be evaluated as to how we will deal with their long-term future. We anticipate that most of the Spanish based orphans will be adopted in Spain and other European countries.

We also have been in close contact with the American and Canadian ambassadors to Spain who are now aware of this amazing program that the Spanish government has sanctioned. We hope to get the ambassadors to help us in providing the right contacts in Washington DC and Ottawa about trying to replicate this program both in the USA and Canada. If we are successful in this endeavor this will allow all the people who have contacted us about adopting, the ability to do so with a very minimal cost and with much more speedy results. We also will advise on this. I plan to visit Spain to develop this angle over the next few weeks.

In Pakistan we will save a further 40 families from slavery over the next few weeks. We already have acquired 40 jobs so that when the families are released they will have the ability to sustain themselves within a few weeks of being freed from bondage. It costs Rescue Christians $600 per family to save them, with over 350 families to be released over the next few months will cost over $200,000, if you can help us with this mission please donate.
