Muslims Attack Four Christians, Hack Three Of Them To Death With Machetes, Take The Other One And Burn Him Alive

Muslim terrorists raided a village in Kenya and murdered four Christians. Three of them were hacked to death with machetes, and the fourth one was burned alive in his own home home according to a recent report:

Late in the night on August 17, al-Shabaab militants entered Maleli village of Witu and killed the four men; three were hacked to death with machetes and one was burned inside his home. The four men who were killed are Stephen Hizano Ponda, Charo Karisa Ngoa, Naphtali Katana Kadenge, and Joseph Gasena Ngoa. The midnight raid also comes barely a week after Kenya entered into general elections, during which al-Shabaab promised to create chaos.

Pastor Henry Divayo of Witu African Inland Church (AIC), where hundreds of Jima families are taking refuge, said, “One of the men killed this morning in Maleli, Naphtali Katana Kadenge, was a son to a family staying in this camp and he was a student at Lamu high school. During the vacation, he decided to go back to Maleli village to fend off wild animals that feed on farm crops. He was advised to be cautious, but when al-Shabaab stormed their house, he was found and killed.”

Father Cyprian Taah of Witu Catholic Church told ICC,“One of our catechists, Stephen Nyati, lost his son in the attack and we are saddened as a church community and we strongly condemn the act. His son had gone back to the fields to check the progress of the farm when the militants pulled him out of the house and slaughtered him.” He continued, “We are asking the global community to remember us in prayer and if possible send us material help because the people in the camps need food, shelter, water, medicine, sanitary pads and soap.”

The President of Kenya asked the families to remain calm in the displacement camps as measures are being taken to rid the area of the terrorists. He ensured the villagers that they will return to their villages and resume their normal lives as soon as possible, but this recent attack means that Lamu is still not safe.

One of the chiefs in Witu, Chief Macharia, stated, “[There] is desperation in the camps that is making a few people return to the villages even after the government ordered all the people to remain in the camps. The Boni Forest operation to kill al-Shabaab is ongoing and several of them have been killed. This operation will go on until all the militants disturbing the peace of Lamu residents are neutralized. We continue to urge the people to stay inside the camps until new orders to return to their homes [are] given by the higher authority.” (source)

More info:
Rescue Christians is a charity founded in 2006. The initial mission was two-fold: to educate the public concerning the threat of fundamentalist Islam and terrorism, and to expose government corruption concerning the infiltration of Islamists into our government. This work continues.

In 2009, after a case of false Blasphemy was referred to us from Pakistan we inquired with many organizations that touted themselves as helping the persecuted Christians. After extensive research we discovered to our disappointment that none of these organizations had any interest in actually saving people from their fate. We decided that despite our lack of expertise at that time, it was our duty as Christians and Jews under the command of the Lord to undertake our best efforts to try and save as many Christian (and Jews if necessary) people as possible both from slavery and persecution.

In 6 years we have saved or helped over 12,000 people. In the last three years we have saved over 10,000 slaves which includes providing them new jobs and new places to live, literally changing their lives from persecution and abject poverty to people with a living wage and children who can now go to school.

We have done this with a tiny budget compared to other charities. Our tiny charity has helped more slaves in three years than the combined efforts of other “slave freeing” charities have done in the last 15 years.

The slave problem is huge with about 30 million slaves worldwide of which over three million are Christians. We believe if we can raise the resources we can save most of the Christian slaves and inspire other non-Christian organizations to save their own brethren. We have already inspired the Hindu community to do the same as us in Pakistan.

We employ brave people who risk their own lives to save their brethren and with the financial resources our readers and supporters provide that allows us to do this holy work. On many occasions we have serious security issues to deal with but thanks to G-d all our staff so far have avoided death or serious injury.

Our primary focus is to rescue people, get them out of danger or slavery and to safety. We avoid getting involved in food programs and social services. This is not because we dislike these programs it is because they cost so much money and because of our limited resources we cannot afford to help hundreds of thousands of people a month providing food and shelter. If we move large amounts of people to safety we partner with other larger organizations that can provide these services.

Ideally we like our rescued victims especially in the slave program to be able to get employment and be self-sustaining once they are released. Our charity retains its own private employment agency so once we release the slaves we can get them employed immediately. However in some cases we will provide on a short-term basis individual families food and shelter until permanent status has been achieved, this is usually the case when we deal with individual cases of extreme persecution.

Even if you are not wealthy you can help. For $87 you can save one slave and pay this over 12 months that is only $7.25 a month. To save one family costs about $500 that is only $40 per month. To save 10 families a year is about $5000, which is $400 a month.

Indian State Passes Law That Declares ‘If You Preach The Gospel You Will Be Arrested And Sent To Prison’

Anti-Christian persecution is growing rapidly in India, and due to our work in Rescuing Christians in Pakistan and India from the infamous brick kilns, we are following the situation closely. Pakistan is infamous for its “blasphemy laws” that result in Christians being imprisoned, tortured, and murdered for their faith. However, India is following in Pakistan’s ways with its own version of blasphemy laws, except this time instead of coming at the hands of Islamic terrorists, it is coming at the hands of India’s Hindu “saffron terrorists.”

“Saffron terrorist” comes from the saffron-colored robes that are worn by supporters of “Hindutva,” or the idea of creating a racially and religiously “pure” India by murdering all non-Hindus and European people or their descendants in India. If it sounds like  Hindu form of National Socialism, it is because that is what it is.

This comes in the form of a law that was just passed in the Indian state of Jharkhand at the insistence of Hindu terrorists that will jail people for “converting” people to a different religion by “fraudulent means” according to a recent report:

The Indian state of Jharkhand reportedly passed on Saturday a controversial anti-conversion bill, which pastors and persecution watchdog groups say aims to stop Christian witness and “ruin the lives of people.”

“The anti-conversion law will ruin the lives and the witness of the church,” an anonymous local pastor in Ranchi told International Christian Concern.

“The BJP, having the power both at the national level and the state, wants to implement its Hindutva ideology. This bill will further divide the people of Jharkhand, particularly divide the tribal people who lived in unity for ages,” he added, referring to the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party.

The Jharkhand Freedom of Religion Bill-2017, as the legislation is called, bans people from attempting to convert others “by use of force or by allurement or by any fraudulent means,” with punishments including up to three years in prison.

The bill is not yet law, and requires the signature of the governor and the president.

Chinese Communist Agents Torture Christian Activist By Fastening Staples Into His Legs In The Shape Of Crosses

Howard Lam was a Christian and political activist in Hong Kong who was tortured by Chinese government agents. They drugged and abducted him, beat him, and then took staples and fastened them to his legs in the shape of crosses for being a Christian according to a recent report:

A pro-democracy activist in China claimed that he was abducted last Thursday and tortured by men believed to be government agents, who allegedly stapled 21 staples in the shape of crosses into his legs because of his Christian faith.

According to reports, Howard Lam, a member of the main Democratic Party in Hong Kong, showed reporters during a press conference in the city last Friday metal staples that he says were stapled into his thighs when he was abducted by unidentified men the day before.

Lam believes that the unidentified mandarin-speaking men who abducted him on Aug. 10 in the Yau Ma Tei area of Hong Kong’s Yau Tsim Mong district were agents of the Chinese mainland government.

According to Premier Christian Radio, Lam explained that when he was kidnapped, he was hurried into a car and knocked out with a drug. After being beaten and tortured by his captors, Lam said that he was again drugged. He said he woke up the next morning lying on a beach in Sai Kung alone.

Lam claimed that the abduction came after he received a phone call warning him not to send an autographed photo of soccer star Lionel Messi to Liu Xia, the widow of anti-communist poet and Nobel Peace Prize winner Liu Xiaobo.

The 61-year-old Xiaobo, who was a Messi fan, died from cancer on July 13 while in Chinese custody. The whereabouts of his wife are now unknown.

According to the Hong Kong Economic Journal, Lam claimed that his abductors asked if he knew Xia.

Christian Solidarity Worldwide, a United Nations-accredited human rights organization, reported that Lam said he was beaten and rendered unconscious by his abductors.

There were 21 staples that were unloaded into Lam’s thighs, as reported by CSW. According to Lam, the captors told him that the staples would be cross-shaped because he was a Christian.

“This shocking incident is a grave violation of Mr. Lam’s rights under international law and, if the perpetrators were indeed agents of the Chinese Communist Party in mainland China, it is also an extremely worrying sign of the increasing boldness of mainland law enforcement operating in Hong Kong,” CSW East Asia Team Leader Benedict Rogers said in a statement. “There appears to have been no legal basis for this abduction. As such, it is a severe violation of the principles of One Country, Two Systems and Hong Kong’s Basic Law.”

Rogers added that the “symbolic use of Mr. Lam’s religion in his alleged torture” is an “alarming threat to freedom of religion or belief.”

“We urge the Hong Kong authorities to launch a full and impartial investigation into the incident, and to guarantee the rights of all citizens, including the right to freedom from torture and freedom of religion or belief,” Rogers added.

An official police investigation has been launched to substantiate Lam’s claim. According to HKEJ, Hong Kong Secretary for Security John Lee Ka-chiu said during a press conference that no substantial evidence has yet been found in the investigation to support Lam’s claim that he was abducted by mainland security agents.

The outlet reports that investigators are reviewing security footage of the scene where the abduction was said to have taken place. Lee said that investigators have also conducted street interviews and sent out questionnaires.

Lam’s case has been listed under “false imprisonment, wounding and criminal intimidation.”

HKEJ notes that many have questioned the veracity behind Lam’s statements. Some have questioned why Lam did not immediately report the abduction to police when he woke up on the beach and why he damaged the evidence by washing his clothes.

However, Lam reportedly responded to some of the questions via his Facebook page on Sunday. HKEJ quotes Lam stating that he didn’t initially give an oral statement to police because he didn’t feel well. Additionally, he assured that he is not simply seeking fame from the situation.

According to HKEJ, Lam will leave China later this month in order to study in the United States. (source)

Christian Pastor Kidnapped By Muslim Terrorists In Nigeria Just Released From Captivity

Nigeria is one of the most dangerous places on earth to be a Christian in right now as fighting rages between Christians and Muslims. Several days ago we reported how Muslim terrorists kidnapped a Christian pastor in Nigeria and were holding him for ransom. He has just been released from captivity according to a recent report:

The Rev. Jen Tivkaa Moses, kidnapped by young Fulani men on Friday (Aug. 4) on the highway from Jos to Abuja in Plateau state, was brought back to Jos at about 1 a.m. on Wednesday, according to a statement from leaders of the Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA).

The church leaders would not say whether a ransom was paid to the kidnappers, who had demanded 1 million naira (US2,730), but church sources told Morning Star News a payment was made to secure his release.

The Rev. Ishaku Yaro, a pastor at ECWA headquarters in Jos, wrote a Facebook post on Wednesday excitedly announcing the release of the pastor, adding that special prayers were held for him at the residence of the general secretary of the ECWA in Jos.

“Praise God we arrived in Jos safely with our CE [Christian Education] Director at about 1 a.m. on the 9th August 2017,” Yaro stated. “Special prayers took place at the ECWA GS house, and he was reunited with his wife. Please allow him to rest … Presently, he will be somewhere resting for at least 3 days before coming back home.”

Pastor Moses was kidnapped by armed gunmen believed to be Fulani herdsmen while he and his driver were on their way to attend a church leadership seminar set for Saturday; the event was cancelled as a result of the kidnapping.
The Rev. Dr. Jeremiah Gado, president of the ECWA, and the Rev. Yunusa S. Madu, ECWA general secretary, suggested
“bad egg” police were allowing Christians to be kidnapped.

“Considering the short distance between the police checkpoint and the spot in which the pastor and other passengers were attacked by the kidnappers, one would have expected a swift response by the police to rescue them, but unfortunately they were helplessly abandoned in the hands of the kidnappers,” they said in the statement. “This scenario, like many others as have been attested to by many residents along Abuja-Kaduna road, lends credence to the possible collaboration of some bad egg police and other security personnel in the increasing crime of kidnapping and armed robbery along that highway, or how do you explain the fact that for all the period our pastor was in the hands of the kidnappers, they neither changed position nor mobile number, and yet the security agents were not able to apprehend or track them.”

In recent days other ECWA pastors and members, including heavily pregnant women and children, have been kidnapped by young Fulani men along the Abuja-Kaduna road and subjected to various degrees of trauma before being released after payment of ransoms, they said.

“Very recently, one of our pastors who had just regained his freedom was held hostage for 5 days by some daredevil young Fulani kidnappers who seized him along Jere-Bwari road, just 200 meters away from a major police checkpoint on the curve bridge after shooting the driver of the vehicle in which he was travelling,” they said. “We therefore use this opportunity to call on the federal government to do the needful in strengthening security of lives and property in the country, especially in the country’s highways, through which many Nigerians ply in search of their daily bread.”

They urged the Nigerian government to step up its effort to secure lives and property. (source)
